Leone Family: Early Fall Morning at the Park

So after watching the weather and debating back and forth if we go ahead with the session or not, I finally decided we should chance it and go for it! I am so glad we did because I love how these shots turned out. The storm finally made Virginia Beach feel like fall and I was able to find some fall foliage! This family was so much fun to work with. Little Lily had such a fun personality and spunk. She really loved those Cheerios, riding in the wagon, and giving Mommy and Daddy kisses; just melts my heart! I am so happy I got to meet and get to know this family and they sure do look beautiful! 

Pumpkin Patch Mini Shoot: Hunt Club Farm

So it's fall and where's the perfect place for my first mini session location…? A pumpkin patch! I really enjoyed taking these little one's photos along with their moms. It was certainly a team effort to make the kids laugh or even sit still. The geese by the pond were doing a better job at keeping there attention.

I am also so thankful I met a new photographer friend in the group who knew how to work a reflector and she worked it well! Full midday sun was definitely my biggest challenge. I also want to say thanks to the parents behind the scenes who watched my two kids so I could take these beautiful photos! 

Mccollough Family: Beach Memories

I had such a blast shooting this family's photos! They did so well and were quickly able to get their family and kid portraits before everyone froze solid. I especially love all the brother-sister shots between these two. So funny! He did NOT want a kiss from his sister, but what brother would…. I know this family is moving away from the area soon and I am so happy I was able to capture some special memories for them at one of their favorite beaches here in Va Beach. 

A Super Sweet Announcement

I had the pleasure to take photos for this sweet couple and their even sweeter surprise to announce to the world! Despite the wind and freezing cold morning we found some beautiful light and even a sailboat in the distance! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot. Martinez Family at the Park

One would think a cloudy day would make for a non ideal day for taking family photos but that is actually the opposite! The clouds made for beautiful, soft. even light which set the tone for the Martinez's fall family photo shoot. They were so much fun to work with, very easy going and I loved their calm energy! Little Jett was such a trooper and I sure did love when his parents did his favorite little noises to make him smile. So cute. He also thoroughly enjoyed the wagon….ha!
